System update version 31.2

In this update, we bring you a large package of system fixes, various improvements for Marketplace partners and regular system News and Optimizations.

from September 1, 2024 there is a charge for the User API. The charge does not apply to the API connection of verified add-ons. You can find more about this change in our blog article and on the detail of the add-on itself Upgates API.

Stocking

What stocking brings:

  • It speeds up and simplifies the stocking of products in your e-shop.
  • The connection with the code reader saves a lot of time for your storekeeper, or personally, who takes care of editing the products.
  • Quick overview of stock status.

Stock can be found in the Products / Stock.

The Stock section now has 3 sections

  • Stock
  • Stocking
  • Stock under limit

Stock below the limit, you probably already know from the e-shop. However, we have added two completely new sections, Stock and Stocking.

  • Stock - A new section that improves the work with the warehouse of product stocks. This is a list of all the products you have in the e-shop together with the columns related to the stock availability of the product. If the product has variants, they can be quickly displayed by hovering the mouse over a specific product line and clicking on the table icon in the right part of the line.


  • Stocking - A new environment for you or your warehouse worker, through which he can very easily and quickly stock new products manually or with the help of a reader.

Attachments in the order

We have added the option to add attachments to the order.
You can enter both separate files and, for example, links to the customer in the attachments.

Thanks to the connection to the API, you can easily deal with, for example, the distribution of electronic keys (licenses) for digital products.

Relocation of the content block

In a recent update, we added the ability to move different blocks of page content to different locations, allowing you to create a unique template design.
Repositioning was previously handled only by necessity by dragging the block in the side menu.

Newly, the blocks in the page content that can be moved will have the relocation navigation displayed:

Simple designation of the parent section

To make it even easier for you to edit elements, we've made it easier for you to move around in elements. No more tedious searching for a specific level in the side navigation bar.
One click on the arrow button will move you up a level.

Customers - Connection and Customer Source

Following your feedback, we have expanded the Customers section. About the new part.

Connections section

In the detail of the customer, Customers / List of customers - Customer name - Main, you will now find the Connections. This field contains similar information as you are used to, for example, from products. It contains common information such as last update times, which import the customer was added with, etc.

This field only appears if you have a certain export (XML/API) enabled. If you do not use them, the Link field will not be displayed.

Source field

The source field is also located on the customer card in the Advanced section. The source allows you to determine where the given customer comes from. It can include information such as created from Administration, Order, etc. Learn more in our help.

Add-ons - Version update

As part of a recent Marketplace and add-ons update, agencies were given the ability to create their own add-ons.

However, it is important for you as clients to know that the agency can also update such add-ons from its side. Of course, in most cases, updates can take place secretly so as not to disturb you in any way. However, there may also be cases when the agency wants to expand its add-on with new functions and your intervention will be required for this.
In fact, the agency can expand the function in the add-on, for example by downloading orders, to enable you to work with them in a new way. However, if they did not have access to the orders before, you must give them this access again so that we retain the possibility to decide whether you want to allow them such access at all.

If you have an add-on that you manage, you can get information about versioning in the Developer forum.

Attention! If the add-on makes such a version, and you do not respond to the update, the functionality of the add-on may be suspended, because the agency may no longer support the add-on with an older configuration (version).

What does the notification look like?

You will see a notification about a new update in the Email, but also in the overview of the e-shop and in the list of Addons.

Display in the add-ons list

Google XML feed - Parameters

As part of the update, we are also adding an XML feed extension for Google Shopping. Added sections that transfer product parameters and values ​​(attribute_name, attribute_value).
Writing to Google's XML feed is fully automatic and comes with this update. No additional settings are required.

We have added POST, GET and DELETE options for redirection within API communication. You can find more in our APIARY documentation.

OPTIMIZATION

Transportation - Transportation groups

Transport groups used to be just an add-on feature. However, they will now systemically behave as a full-fledged module. Instead of the original one field, which was hidden in the transport detail, you can now edit transport groups directly in the transport list, from where you have an overview of how many products fall under such a restriction, or exactly how many transports are assigned to this group, including their filtering.
Shipping groups can now be found in the Settings / Orders / Shipmnet section

Objednávky - Přidání vlastního stavu

V seznamu objednávek je možné do záložek přidávat stavy objednávek. Avšak bylo nutné přejít do seznamu stavů, otevřít příslušný stav a v něm zatrhnout checkbox. Nyní po optimalizaci jednoduše v seznamu objednávek vyberete příslušný vlastní stav ze seznamu a jedním klikem jej přidáte.
